About Shivkrupa
The formation of SHIVKRUPA Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha is deeply rooted in the vision of addressing the social and economic challenges faced by rural communities in Maharashtra. Observing the persistent issues of poverty, unemployment, lack of access to quality healthcare, women’s vulnerability, and limited educational opportunities for children, the need for a dedicated platform became increasingly clear. These gaps in rural development called for organized efforts to uplift marginalized sections and to create sustainable pathways for empowerment. With more than two decades of active involvement as a social activist, Mr. Rahul S. Gheware recognized that meaningful and lasting change could only be achieved through collective participation and a structured approach. His journey of social service, driven by compassion and inclusiveness, inspired the establishment of SHIVKRUPA in 2017. The organization was formally registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, providing it with the legal foundation to expand its activities across Maharashtra.
Since its inception, SHIVKRUPA has worked tirelessly to serve as a bridge between the needs of rural society and the opportunities for sustainable growth. Its mission has been to empower women, nurture children, promote livelihood development, and address the pressing challenges of underdeveloped communities. Rooted in the belief that every individual deserves dignity and opportunity, SHIVKRUPA continues to walk the path of service with the goal of creating an equitable and empowered society.
Founder’s Leadership
His leadership philosophy centers on “development with dignity”—where empowerment, self-reliance, and community ownership form the foundation of every intervention. He strongly believes that sustainable change is achieved not through external aid alone, but through strengthening local capacities and fostering collective action.
